About Us

Encouragement…this is what I was attempting to convey to our sons with the two phrases that are the catalyst for Thomas James Designs.  

“Every Quarter is the 4th Quarter” ® - Our oldest son, middle name Thomas, sometimes would wait until the 4th quarter, before he would turn on the burners during basketball games.  I yelled this as he was walking out the door one day before a game.  This was during his 2020 season and I said back then “That should be on a t-shirt!”  

Well, I just continued on with 2020 & 2021.  Then in October 2021…

“Be God’s Version Of You” ® - Our youngest son, middle name James, had a parent teacher conference.  During the conference, I explained to him that he needs to be who God created him to be…that is how he should behave.  This phrase came to my mind clear as day! AGAIN, I said “That should be on a t-shirt!”  

Well, I didn’t just sit on those thoughts this time!  So, here I am, giving you the scoop on an “About Us” page - LOL!  

As you wear these items, I hope they remind you to give your all and remember what version of you really matters.

It’s not about perfection, it’s about seeing ourselves and others the way God sees us.
